Opening Times: Mon - Fri 9:00 - 17:00 EST
The VAC is based on image processing algorithms, automation and artificial intelligent technologies to achieve automatic calibration of the routine capillary viscometers. The calibration process complies with ASTM D446 and ISO 3105.
Viscometer types to be calibrated include Ubbelohde, Cannon™-Fenske routine, Cannon™-Fenske opaque, Pinkevitch, Zeitfuchs Cross-Arm, et al.
Different types of routine capillary viscometers are installed in the constant temperature bath. The calibration process of every viscometer is independent and can be performed simultaneously without affecting each other to save the time.
The MVC complies with ASTM D2162 and ASTM D445. It is used to verify or calibrate master viscometers. It can be used for the characterization of viscosity reference materials (CRM). It can also be used to calibrate routine capillary viscometers.
The measurement of the timing can be manual or automatic.
The automatic version is equipped with optical sensors to detect the time that the liquid pass the timing marks on the capillaries.
The RVC complies with ASTM E2975 and ISO 2555 for the calibration of rotational viscometers which are used in a broad range of industries including food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, paints, and lubricants.
The RVC consists of several transparent circulating cups whose inner containers are in constant temperature controlled by a thermostat. The transparent circulating cups and thermostat are connected by pipelines protected by thermal isolation foams to reduce the thermos loss. The spindles of viscometers to be calibrated can be easily immersed in the viscosity reference material in the inner containers of the cups.
